El Grupo Aventura was founded in New York in 1999, due to the fact that all of its members were born in the Bronx. However, their first works were accomplished in Boston, explained in the fact that there is a wide dominican community there.

It was tought at the beginning, as is generally expected when a group enters the race for wealth and glory doing that thing that really like. But they gave everything away except for their music, earning the respect and admiration of ever growing fans, hungry for their bachata melodies rich in its cultural roots. These men are here to stay, after they succesfully developed a particular flavor in their music: their lyrics do not fall into the typical spite and bitter of the bachata songs, the forsaken characters, the infidelity and such, and yet, on the other hand, they cleverly embraced the North American influence into their style, and also took advantage of its language.

¿Did you know ? The original name of this Bachata band was The Teenagers. Under that name they composed their succesful "Love trap".

Grupo Aventura has got four music productions : "Generation Next" (1999) , "We Broke The Rules" (2002) , "Love and Hate" (2003) and "God's project" (2005) , whith more than thirty beautiful music compositions.

Grupo Aventura Members

Anthony Santos, alias "Romeo", is the leader of the group. He has composed most of the songs, and is also the lead singer. The rest: Lenny Santos, Henry Santos, Mikey Santos and the guest singer ("Obsesión" theme) Judy Santos.

Lenny Santos : he is the lead guitar, and also the one who gives shape to their music style.
Henry Santos : sings and is part of the group choreography.
Max Santos : is the bass player of the band, better known as Mikey.
